Kathy Almond became the SBC Director in January 2007 moving from her former position as Coordinator of Service Learning and Cooperative Education at SCC.
“I remember visiting the SCC Small Business Center in 1990 prior to starting my own business here in Stanly County. I feel fortunate to be in a position now to help someone else begin their vision into the world of entrepreneurship.” Having owned and operated her own business for 14 years, Kathy brings valuable experience to this position.
