Carolina Auction Academy
Stanly Community College is extremely pleased with the addition of Carolina Auction Academy. Carolina Auction Academy is an approved school of auctioneering for North Carolina and South Carolina offered at the Crutchfield Campus of Stanly Community College.
Students quickly find out there is more to the auction business than just knowing how to “talk fast.” This is an intensive program full of law, math, marketing, technology, business ethics, and the famous chant; but according to students it is a fun, fast-paced class. Students are prepared for the state licensing exam as well as the auction business.
The core team of six instructors includes both a North Carolina and a South Carolina champion auctioneer. Visiting instructors, visits to area auctions, and a student auction are part of the program.
You must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED to sit for the state exam. Please call (704) 991-0142 if you are interested in being part of the next class.
