Nurse Assistant Level I Refresher

This 32-hour course is for the following individuals:

Those who were listed as a nursing assistant in North Carolina but have let their certification expire.
Those who have a current or prior listing as a nursing assistant in another state and wish to become listed on the North Carolina Registry.

This is an intensive review of knowledge and an update of basic nursing skills needed for the care of the elderly or the infirm. At the end of the class students will receive a Certificate of Completion and may then apply to take the North Carolina NA I State Exam at an additional cost of $92. Upon successful completion of the exam, the individual will be listed on the Division of Facility Services' Nurse Aide Registry as a Nursing Assistant Level I.

Students must be present for all 32 hours.
