SCC Offers Class on Eminent Domain


keenya(March 11, 2013) Stanly Community College (SCC) will host Charlotte Attorney Keenya Justice on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, to teach a course on Eminent Domain: What every agent should know. This informative session will run from 8:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. and will be held at the SCC Crutchfield Education Center in Locust.

Ms. Justice is the owner of The Justice Firm based in Charlotte, N.C., and specializes in protecting the financial interests of the landowner and those affected by eminent domain proceedings.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (Finance) with a minor in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She earned a dual Law and Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Georgia, and the District of Columbia.

This class is approved by the Real Estate Commission for four hours of elective credit, but any property owner could benefit from this course. It is open to the public.
