(November 16, 2009) Stanly Community College (SCC) is pleased to announce a new online registration process for the Continuing Education Division (ConEd).

This diversified division specializes in classes for individuals that need training in their vocation or professional field, basic skills knowledge, or for those that may wish to enhance their personal or community life.

The majority of the classes offered are non-credit courses; meaning that the courses do not lead to a degree program. However, many of the programs offered prepare individuals for recognized state and national certifications.

The new online registration process is offered through WebAdvisor, an online registration tool. Students are able to access schedules, registration information and payment, obtain their personal information such as: grades, transcripts and account status.

WebAdvisor is convenient and easy to use, and is available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with the exception of Wednesday evenings for system maintenance. When an individual wishes to enroll in a course, they simply click on the “Register Now” button, select the class they want to take, and fill out the information requested—it’s that simple!

We encourage all those interested in furthering their education to visit the Continuing Education Division and explore the numerous classes available. If you are looking for a particular class and do not see it listed, please contact us, because not all courses are available at all times.
