The Respiratory Therapy faculty and students participated in this fun and interactive week that helped over 25 children with asthma. “This is an excellent opportunity for the Respiratory Therapy students to reach out to the community and educate others about vital health issues such as asthma, smoking cessation, and the benefits of exercise. Plus, the kids make it fun for all to learn,” commented Lanny Inabnit, Faculty Instructor for Respiratory Therapy at SCC.
“Health related careers are some of the most attractive and well-respected professions in the nation. They allow you to impact individual lives, as well as your community,” said Judy Adrian, Director of Clinical Education for Respiratory Therapy at SCC. “Health related careers offer good jobs, daily challenges,
and the satisfaction of helping others in need,” added Adrian.
