Adobe Photoshop Elements Introduction


Course Description: This course is a powerful image-editing tool and can be taken by beginners and professional photographers wanting to make good photographs and have the ability to enhance their photographs. Camera required.

Pre-requisite: None.

Class meetings: There will be eight class meetings and the classes meet three hours each for a total of 24 hours. Instructor may schedule class for field trips.

Course Outline:

  • Download photographs from your camera
  • Organize photographs
  • Explore using Photoshop’s photo galleries
  • Learn basic cropping
  • Resize photographs
  • Print photographs
  • Adjust color and fixing problems in student’s images

Grading: Students will receive a “S” Satisfactory if they attend 80% of the total course hours and meet course requirements as established by instructor or a “U” Unsatisfactory if are absent in excess of 20% of total course hours or fail to meet course requirements as established by instructor.
