Anatomy & Physiology for Coders


This online course is designed to introduce basic anatomy and physiology. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between body structure and function and the procedures common to health care. Upon completion, students should be able to identify body system components and functions relating this knowledge to the delivery of health care.

This course is not designed for EMT-Paramedic students and does not fulfill a science credit for any Stanly Community College associate degree program.

• Text is required and will be available in the SCC Main Campus Bookstore in Albemarle during semesters when this class is offered

• Class is only offered in an online format

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Driver’s license or state ID

Total hours: 60
