Medication Aide – Long-Term Care
This course is designed to meet the training requirements for the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) Medication Aide Certification. This certification allows Nurse Aides to administer medications to long-term care patients. Topics include: oral, topical, and instillation medication routes; medical asepsis; hand hygiene; terminology; and legal implications. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to take the NCBON Medication Aide Exam.

Requirements:
- Driver’s license, Social Security Card
- Students must have current, unexpired (or actively pursuing a current) listing on the NC Nurse Aide I Registry
- $65 (cash in the exact amount, check, credit card, or approved program voucher)
