Nurse Aide Level I - Hybrid

This course consists of on-line lecture, Saturday on -campus skill labs, and Sunday clinicals to be held in a long-term-care facility. The NA I Hybrid program provides students with knowledge in basic nursing skills to be able to provide direct personal care in various healthcare settings. Upon completion of this program, students will be qualified to take the NNAAP State Exam for Nurse Aide Level One. Individuals must pass this exam to be listed on the NC NAI Registry.


To determine registration eligibility, students must pass a reading comprehension test at an 11th grade reading level and be able to provide proof of US high school graduation with a diploma, GED certificate or transcript. Once qualified to register, the student must provide a signed social security card, a signed photo ID, and pay the registration fee online, in-person or over the phone. Immunizations and criminal background clearances are required by clinical sites.
