Nurse Aide Level II - Hybrid
This 191-hour course consists of on-line lecture, Saturday on -campus skill competencies, and Sunday clinicals in a long term care facility and hospital settings. This course provides students with knowledge in advanced nursing skills to provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Upon completion of this program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for the program and will be qualified to apply for listing on the Nurse Aide Two Registry with the NC Board of Nursing.
Students wanting to register for this course must currently be listed on the Nurse Aide Level One Registry and must maintain this listing throughout the entire course. At registration the student must provide proof of a US HS diploma or GED, driver’s license, social security card, and tuition.
Additional Information
• Textbook is required and available at the SCC Bookstore
• Students will purchase a criminal background check and drug screen within the first week of class
• Listing Fee: $24 due at end of program
• Other: Scrubs (white top and black pants) and closed-toe shoes for clinicals.
