Nurse Aide Level II - Hybrid


This 191-hour course consists of on-line instruction, Saturday on-campus skill competencies, and Sunday clinicals in a long term care facility and hospital settings. This course provides students with knowledge in advanced nursing skills to provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Upon completion of this program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for the program and will be qualified to apply for listing on the Nurse Aide Two Registry with the NC Board of Nursing.

Students wanting to register for this course must currently be listed on the Nurse Aide Level One Registry and must maintain this listing in good standing throughout the entire course. The registration fee of $195.00 will be due at the time of registration and can be paid in cash, check or credit/debit card. Once the student registers for this course, they will receive an introduction letter in the mail detailing all costs and aspects of this course.

At the first Saturday meeting, the student will be required to provide proof of a US HS diploma or GED, driver’s license, social security card, NA I listing from the registry and proof of up-to-date immunizations along with the money order for the criminal background check.

Other costs associated with this course are: uniforms, textbook, criminal background check, drug screen and listing fee.
