What is NEIT, FIT, CIT?
New and Expanding Industry Training (NEIT)
If you're considering a new site or expansion of an existing facility Stanly Community College offers customized training to new and expanding industry
- Manufacturing
- Technology Intensive
- Regional or national warehousing or distribution centers
- Regional or national customer service, data processing, or units to a central office
- Air courier services
Focused Industrial Training (FIT)
- Specialized courses, workshops and seminars are available to employees through Focused Industrial Training
- Programs help manufacturers train new and existing employees on processes, procedures and technology
- Courses may be customized in content and length according to need
- The aim is to help employees become more productive and effecient by providing them with the skills to use the manufacturing tools available to them
- Instructors may be secured by the college or employed by the contracting industry
Customized Industry Training (CIT)
- The Customized Industry Training program will assist exisiting North Carolina businesses and industries to improve their productivity and profitability
Funding is availiable for various types of training under these programs.
