A: It is free to currently enrolled students.

Q: How do I get tutoring?

A: Simply fill out a Tutor Request form, you can stop by and fill one out or Click Here to download it . You can email it in or print it and bring it by the Student Success Center.  Once you have completed the form, we will match you with a tutor and schedule your tutoring sessions.

Q: When can I get tutoring?

A: We normally schedule tutoring during our regular business hours by matching when the student can come and a tutor is available.  Sessions are normally for an hour.

Q: What kind of tutoring is offered?

A: We offer seated 1 on 1 sessions, small groups, and online tutoring.

Q: What subjects can I get tutored in?

A: This varies by semester. Math, English & Introduction to Computers are always available. We try to make sure there is someone available for all subjects offered each semester. However, we will try and work out an arrangement, if possible, if there isn't currently a tutor for what you need. We also offer the Writing Center located in the LRC for your research paper guidance.

Q: Do I have to be with a tutor to use the Success Center computer lab?

A: No, the Success Center computers are there for you to use, just be sure to log in and out of our database system and you are welcome to use any open computer in the lab.  Occasionally there will be a class or test being held in our center, but we post signs to let you know when the lab is going to be closed for one of these reasons.
