Adult Basic Education (ABE)

ABE classes are free and focus on basic reading and math skills.  While some students come to these classes to learn to read for the first time, others attend in order to improve their reading skills.  Students who have already completed high school but test below the high school level may also enroll in ABE classes to refresh their skills before entering college classes or to apply for promotions at work.  For more information call Andrea Steed at (704) 991-0253 or email at asteed5267@stanly.edu.
