Simulation and Game Development—Student Success Stories

On the road to success

Michael ColsonSecond-year SGD student Michael Colson joined an online site called RentACoder.com about a year ago.  It is an outsource site where you may bid for online jobs that are available across the U.S. and abroad.

Michael has acquired numerous jobs that pay money.  One job he received was to train personnel in California to use UnrealScript programming.  Michael did all of this via online.  He also won the bid for the Stern School of Business at NYU to create over 100 Mii characters.

Michael says that he is glad that he enrolled in the Simulation and Game Development Degree program, noting that the instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable.  Michael says he has used his current skills to get jobs and he hasn’t even graduated yet!  He looks forward to a promising career in the gaming development industry!
