Stanly Community College’s Criminal Justice Technology degree is designed to provide knowledge of the criminal justice system and operations.  Your focus will be on local, state, and federal law enforcement, judicial processes, corrections, and security services.  The role of the criminal justice system within society will be explored.

Emphasis will also be placed on criminology, juvenile justice, criminal and  constitutional   law, investigative principles, ethics, and community relations.  Additional study may include issues and concepts of government, counseling, communications, computers, and technology.


Criminal Justice ACIGetting It Online!

All courses required for the A.A.S. degree are offered online.  Students can earn academic credits any time, any place, any pace!  You can achieve your personal goals without sacrificing time away from your family and friends. We offer financial aid, and in many cases your employer may offer tuition assistance or reimbursement.
 
SCC’s criminal justice degree was first offered completely online in 2001. Our online program currently enrolls hundreds of individuals from across North Carolina as well as out-of-state and overseas students.
