Tammy Crump, Ph.D., RRT, RCP, Associate Dean of Health and Public Services:
Tammy grew up in Stanly County and graduated from North Stanly High School. She completed SCC’s one-year diploma Respiratory Therapy program. While working at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, she completed her Associate Degree at Central Piedmont Community College, obtaining experience in both adult and neonatal critical care.
Tammy has served as Program Director for the Respiratory Therapy program since 1988. Her educational degrees include a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a master's degree from NC A&T, and a Ph.D. from Cambridge State University. In 1993, Tammy was one of five semifinalists in the state for the NC Community College/First Union Excellence in Teaching Award. She also received the NISOD Excellence in Teaching Award in 2000.
In February 2005 received Respiratory Care Educator of the year award from the Northwest Respiratory Care Managers Group and in September 2006 received Educator of the Year from North Carolina Society for Respiratory Care Association.

Judy H. Adrian, BHS, RRT, RCP:
Judy Adrian is Director of Clinical Education for the Respiratory Therapy program and began teaching at Stanly Community College in 1993. She specializes in adult and neonatal critical care and has been a Registered Respiratory Therapist since 1987 after graduating from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Judy continued her educational endeavors by earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997.
After receiving the NISOD Excellence in Teaching Award in 1996 and 1998, Judy was a nominee from Stanly Community College to the North Carolina Community College/First Union Foundation’s Excellence in Teaching award in 1998. She also received the 1998 Stanly Community College President’s Choice Award and the Northwest Respiratory Care Managers Group Respiratory Care Clinical Educator Award in 2001.

Lanny S. Inabnit, RRT, RCP:
Lanny moved from Missouri to North Carolina in 1998 and was employed at local area hospitals. Lanny began working for Stanly Community College as a part-time clinical instructor for the Respiratory Therapy program in 2003. He accepted a full-time faculty instructor position in the fall of 2004. Lanny received an Associate in Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Southern Illinois University and became a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 1996. He has worked in all areas of Respiratory Therapy with a special interest in neonatal/pediatric Respiratory Care. Lanny is currently pursuing a bachelor of science degree. He also received the NISOD Excellence in Teaching Award in 2007.
