Trustee Chair

First appointed in 1977, Whit currently is the longest serving trustee as well as the trustee chair, a post he has held since 1983. He currently serves as an appointee of the Stanly County Board of Education. He is the retired owner of Albemarle Retread and is currently serving as mayor of the city of Albemarle.
