That Special Pasting function

Have you ever copied something from an e-mail but when you pasted it in your Word document found that the formatting was all mixed up? Or maybe you have tried to copy and paste something from the Internet with the same results (See figure 1).

What you needed was the Paste Special function. Here's a case in point: Fixing this is easy; instead of Edit Paste (or Ctrl-V) when you're ready to paste, use Edit Paste Special and choose unformatted text from the dialog box. Then the text will be pasted in the format of your target document instead of its original format. (See figure 2)
