Albemarle, NC – With the recent contribution of two additional scholarships, the Stanly Heritage Endowed Scholarship Program currently totals fifty-six (56). Stanly Community College is proud to announce the establishment of the Bernard Keith Almond Scholarship initiated by Dr. George E. Eddins, Jr. Mr. Almond’s wife, Sandra, and his daughters, Kristi Collins and Kim Allen, were present for the presentation. The second scholarship initiated is the Jewel H. Lee and Robert D. Lee Endowed Scholarship given by Mr. and Mrs. Lee.
