(March 11, 2008) The Adult Literacy Department at Stanly Community College will be offering the Fast-track GED course at the Crutchfield Education Center, located in Locust, beginning March 29, 2008. The program is designed to prepare students for their GED in three one-day class sessions.
The Fast-track classes are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and are designed especially for adults who do not have a great deal of time to attend school. With only 18 hours of class time, students can prepare and register for the GED exam.
Classes for the next session will be held on March 29, April 5, and April 12, 2008. Adults who are not currently enrolled in Stanly Community College’s GED program are eligible to attend the Fast-track classes.
There is no charge for the classes and course materials are provided in class.
