SCC Hosts Scholarship Breakfast
(November 8, 2007) Stanly Community College held its annual breakfast for scholarship donors and their recipients at the Albemarle campus on Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
“The college would like to express a sincere thank you to the financial institutions, businesses, and individuals that have made an education possible for some of our area’s finest students through their generous financial contributions,” remarked SCC President Dr. Michael Taylor. “Donors help to enrich the lives of our students who might otherwise not be able to continue their studies,” added Taylor.
Stanly Community College is committed to helping students achieve their educational potential by attempting to bridge the gap between educational costs and available resources with grants and scholarships. If you would like more information on scholarships or financial aid, please contact Pamera Brafford, Assistant to the President for Resource Development, at (704) 991-0284 or pbrafford5184@stanly.edu.
