(April 29, 2008) Stanly Community College’s (SCC) Carolina Auction Academy (CAA) students recently celebrated National Auctioneers Day, which was nationally recognized on April 19, 2008. To help recognize local auctioneers, CAA and the SCC Small Business Center, provided a seminar and networking opportunity at the Locust Campus.
Tim Dannelly, nationally known speaker from Eden, NC, presented a seminar entitled, You Can Sell Anything, after which participants networked, shared ideas and questions.
Graduates of CAA, instructors, and guests attending the session found this time valuable to help them focus on the growth in the auction industry and upcoming opportunities such as the summer class, Boot camp for Auction Support Staff.
