(April 24, 2008) Stanly Community College hosted the eighteenth annual Stanly Heritage Endowed Scholarship Banquet on April 15, 2008, at the Albemarle Campus. Scholarship recipients and donors enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship. Fifty-four (54) scholarships were awarded this year.
“The Stanly Heritage Endowed Scholarships are made possible by caring individuals who really want to make a difference in the lives of students seeking higher education,” noted SCC President Dr. Michael Taylor. “Our donors understand how important education is and how it not only impacts the student’s life, but their families as well,” added Dr. Taylor.
