Job Referral Services at Stanly Community College exist to serve the employment needs of both current and former students of the College. As graduation approaches, students are encouraged to meet with the Job Referral Office (Room 119 Patterson Building) for assistance with resume writing and interviewing techniques. These tools will prepare you for the job search ahead.
Job Referral Services include job referrals, resume preparation, practice interviews, and printed materials covering the job search campaign. Your faculty advisor will also be able to help with information on employment opportunities.
In order to improve your job search, these two presentations will provide some solid recommendations on how to put together an outstanding resume and will offer some proven suggestions on how to have a great interview with your prospective employer.
Though the college does not guarantee that each graduate will find immediate employment, SCC is here to assist with the skills necessary to reach that goal.
