Health Careers

Designed for campers interested in health care, this three-day camp exposes young students to the variety of health care career programs offered at SCC nursing, radiography, medical laboratory technology, emergency medical science, medical assisting, and respiratory therapy.

Welding

This three-day camp is packed full of learning some awesome skills! Campers will spend time in a fabrication shop, learning the welding process from start to finish.

Beauty By The Book

Join our cosmetology department on a 4-day, hands-on, introduction into the world of Cosmetology.
Often known as the "Cosmetic Arts" because it requires imagination and artistic vision, it is the professional skill or practice of beautifying the hair, skin and nails.

Collision Repair & Autobody

Get your hands dirty with our three-day camp all about cars! Campers will learn about the autobody repair and restoration process from start to finish!

Heavy Equipment Operations

It’s all about construction and moving dirt at this camp designed to show participants careers in Heavy Equipment Operations. During the week, campers will learn the basic operations of excavators, loaders, and dozers through high-tech simulations as well as testing their skills and agility on a real excavator.

HVAC

Designed for campers interested in the world of heating and cooling, this two-day camp exposes young students to the possible career opportunities, hands-on skills and importance of SCC’s HVAC program.

Machining

Designed for campers interested in a trades career, this four-day camp exposes young students to the world of machining. Learn how to cut and shape materials to make a final product.

Safety Matters

This four-day camp gives students the tools and skills necessary to help keep them safe in both the real and cyber worlds. During the first two hours, campers will learn the skills and exercises needed to defend themselves when needed. For the last hour, they will learn about internet safety, web privacy and cybersecurity.
