"Thank you for your loyalty," commented Kimberly Herrin, Stanly Community College (SCC) Manicurist Technician Instructor and Coordinator of Continuing Education Cosmetic Arts. Ms. Herrin expressed her gratitude to long-time nail client, Mrs. Sylvia Hinson.
Mrs. Hinson is a dedicated client of the SCC Cosmetology program and was first introduced to the specialty curriculum while employed at West Stanly High School. Since her retirement, Mrs. Hinson has been a devoted client of all the College's Cosmetology Salon services.
During the 1990's, she received many hair and nail treatments from students in the SCC Cosmetology clinic housed at Burleson Square – Albemarle, NC. Ironically, she was the last customer for the evening Manicuring class at Burleson Square and the first customer for the new Manicuring class at the recently opened Morton-Moffitt Cosmetology Center, located on the SCC Albemarle Campus.
"I truly enjoy getting my manicures and pedicures from these students," stated Mrs. Hinson. "The students and instructors have always been very knowledgeable and friendly. I tell all my friends and family about the wonderful services and economical prices offered here at the College."
The Morton-Moffitt Cosmetology Center is located at the end of 141 College Drive on the Stanly Community College Albemarle Campus. The Manicurist Technician class runs Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Students accept clients on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and appointments are preferred by calling (704) 991-0339.
Starting January 9, Day and Night Manicurist Technician classes will be offered. For more information, contact Mrs. Herrin at the phone number above, email firstname.lastname@example.org , or by visiting the website at www.stanly.edu.
