SCC Adjunct Faculty Hosts Book Signing
Reggie and Anita Hill prepare for their book signing at SCC. Guests who joined them were encouraged
to have some cake that was decorated with artwork of their beloved cat “Sunshine.”
Albemarle, NC - Local authors Reginald (Reggie) Hill, and wife, Anita, recently held a book signing for their children’s book, Sunshine’s Excellent Adventures. The book signing took place at Stanly Community College’s Learning Resources Center (LRC), on the Albemarle campus, Wednesday, October 18.
The book is about adventures of the cat that Reggie and Anita adopted in real life. It is the authors’ sincerest wish that the book will teach children some very important lessons about love, life, service to others, and the acceptance of all living creatures. Cats are one of the most fascinating creatures on earth, and the authors hope the book will bring joy to children everywhere.
Reggie served in the US Army Security Agency and has had successful careers as a technology consultant, professor, and financial advisor. He is a current financial planner and economist, and an adjunct faculty member at SCC. Anita has been a teacher, banker, and real estate professional.
Both Reggie and Anita are avid animal lovers and have a special place in their hearts for cats. Reggie and Anita attended school together from first grade through graduation and recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.
