Stanly Community College (SCC) presents awards every year to honor the outstanding faculty, staff and adjunct faculty members. The award recipients are chosen by peers within their respective divisions. Decisive factors for eligibility include dedication and skill for the profession, outstanding leadership qualities, and excellent performance and commitment to the community college mission.
Rita W. Love, Director of Institutional Research and Planning, was selected for the 2016 Staff of the Year Award. Mrs. Love earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health in International Health and Development from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
