SCC Cosmetology Students to Host Hair Show
Albemarle, NC - The Cosmetology students at Stanly Community College (SCC), along with program instructors Linda Hatley, David Smith, Gena Trogdon, Tammy Shepherd, and Kimberly Herrin, will be hosting the Annual Cosmetology Hair Show on Thursday, April 12, 2018. This year’s event will highlight the latest trends and techniques in prom and special occasion hairstyles and make-up.
The public is invited and admission is free. SCC would like to extend a special invitation to local salon professionals to come out to the show and enjoy the talent and entertainment. The goal is to show the local community what the Cosmetology students can do and to open up possible career opportunities within salons after graduation. We also encourage parents, family and friends to come out and support the Cosmetology students.
SCC’s Cosmetology programs provide a simulated salon environment that enables students to develop manipulative skills. Coursework includes instruction in all phases of professional imaging, hair design, chemical processes, skin care, nail care, multicultural practices, product knowledge, business/computer principles, and other selected topics.
Join us on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., at Stanly Community College’s Dennis Auditorium in the Kelley Building. Admission is free. Models are needed. For more details, please contact Linda Hatley at (704) 991-0375 or firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Cosmetology program website.
