On March 16, 2020. President Trump provided guidance that no more than nine people should gather in any one place. In considering these guidelines and the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff, all face-to-face instruction is suspended, effective Wednesday, March 18. This restriction is until further notice.
The amount of on-campus resources open to the public will be reduced. Beginning Monday, March 23, five areas of the Albemarle campus will be open to the public from 9:00 – 4:00. These areas include the LRC, the business office, a “visitor’s center”, the food pantry, and the bookstore. Also beginning on Monday, March 23, we will open CEC on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from Noon – 4:00 to provide students with access to the food pantry and the student resource center. Faculty and staff have the ability to volunteer to staff key areas that will be open to the public.
