The maximum number of credit hours a student may take in a given semester is 21. Any credit hours above 21 must be recommended by the student’s advisor and approved by the appropriate associate dean. Exception to overload policy: Associate deans do not have to approve credit hours overloads if more than 18 credit hours per semester is listed in the semester-by-semester curriculum outline.
