Learn to Use Your PC

This course begins with an overview of computer concepts and the basics of using Microsoft® Windows. Next, you will work with Word as they type letters and use AutoCorrect, Copy and Paste, and other features. You will also learn basic techniques to browse for, open, move and copy, and delete and restore file. Once you are comfortable working with these tasks, you will move on to browsing the Web with Internet Explorer. You will perform searches, interpret a list of keyword search hits, narrow your searches, and open multiple browser windows. You will also create and manage favorites. This course ends with a discussion of Webmail. You will send and receive Webmail messages, work with attachments, create folders to store your messages, and more. Textbook required.
