Essential Functions and Requirements

Students admitted to the Respiratory Therapy program must demonstrate sufficient physical and emotional health to participate in academic and laboratory activities and to practice clinically with the public in a safe and effective manner.

Hearing / Vision:Abilities sufficient to monitor and assess patient needs necessary in safe clinical practice
Professional Behavior:Abilities sufficient to maintain composure in stressful situations; Build constructive & cooperative working relationships; Demonstrate ethical decision making & professional responsibility
