Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

The CCNA Routing and Switching curriculum is a gateway to entry-level networking jobs and IT careers. The curriculum consists of three courses. These include:

  • CCNA 1:  Introduction to Networks
  • CCNA 2:  Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials
  • CCNA 3:  Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation

Learn networking fundamentals and advanced concepts with hands-on labs and simulations to develop your skills.   All three courses are recommended before taking the Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification exam.

After completing the CCNA curriculum, students will be able to:

  • Develop a working knowledge of routing, switching, network applications, protocols, and services
  • Practice what you learn on both real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer, a network configuration simulation tool
  • Get immediate feedback on your work through built-in quizzes and test
  • Connect with the global Cisco Networking Academy community

 

Cyberops Associate

The CyberOps Associate v1.0 curriculum provides an introduction to the knowledge and skills needed for a Security Analyst working with a Security Operations Center team. It teaches core security skills needed for monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing, and responding to security events, thus protecting systems and organizations from cybersecurity risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. It includes an optional skills challenge to practice cybersecurity operations knowledge in a fun and engaging environment.

The curriculum is appropriate for students at many education levels and types of institutions, including secondary vocational students, 2-year and 4-year college students By the end of the course, students will be prepared to:

  • Understand cybersecurity operations network principles, roles, and responsibilities as well as the related technologies, tools, regulations, and frameworks available.

  • Apply knowledge and skills to monitor, detect, investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents.

  • Apply for entry-level jobs as Associate Security Analyst and Incident Responder.

  • Take the Cisco Certified CyberOps Certification exam.

CyberOps Associate is a hands-on, career-oriented course with an emphasis on practical experience to help students develop specialized skills to successfully handle the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of an associate-level Security Analyst working in a Security Operations Center (SOC). This 70-hour, instructor-led course includes:

  • 28 Modules and 46 hands-on labs 

  • 110+ interactive activities, videos, & quizzes

  • 6 Cisco Packet Tracer activities

  • 1 practice certification exam

 

NDG Linux Essentials

Learn the basics of Linux, the world's most popular operating system, and expand your career opportunities in IT. Developed by Network Development Group, Linux Essentials is designed for learners who are beginning to build Linux knowledge.

With the NDG Linux Essentials curriculum, students will be able to:

  • Learn basic open source concepts
  • Understand how Linux is used and the basics of the command line
  • Apply skills using Linux virtual machine with step-by-step and hands-on lab activities
  • Build foundational knowledge for progressively mastering Linux commands
  • Connect with the global Cisco Networking Academy community
