Agribusiness Technology

Synder Building
June 26-28 | 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Cost: $40 | Rising 4th-6th Graders

This three-day camp is packed full of agriculture fun! Campers will learn about animal science, plant science, and the business side of agriculture. There will be plenty of hands-on activities each day, so campers may come home with dirty hands from planting plants!

Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration

June 12-14 | 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $40 | Rising 7th-9th Graders

Campers will learn the basic operations of an air conditioner and heat pump, and learn to braze copper tubing and perform metal fabrication. By the end of the camp, students will learn how to build their own tool box!

Campers will learn the basics of painting cars and repairing car parts damaged in a collision. Participants will also learn to create their own automotive art to take home!

Cost: $40 | Rising 7th-9th Graders

This four-day camp is packed full of all that is metal. Campers will learn how to operate a mill and a lathe to make parts, along with reading blueprints and taking measurements. Every student will learn how to create their own tools to take home with them!

Cost: $25 | Rising 7th-9th Graders

It’s all about Criminal Justice! Learn the terms and different theories, as well as cast impressions. Campers will locate, develop, lift, and classify fingerprints. They will also learn to process a mock crime scene, including drawing a crime scene sketch, as well as bag and tag the evidence!

During this four-day event, campers learn the basics of electronics engineering, computer engineering, and biomedical equipment technology. Build your own circuit, take apart a computer, and learn about hospital equipment.

Cost: $25 | Rising 7th-9th Graders

Campers will learn different ways to communicate through graphic design, with a focus on principles and techniques. Students will also learn how to use simple and free software to build projects that could range from posters to Facebook advertisements.

Learn the basic operations of excavators, loaders, and dozers through high-tech simulations and test your skills and agility on a real excavator. Campers will also learn the basics of Mig (wire) welding and Stick welding, and get to weld their own project! You will also get to see a robotic welder and a CNC plasma table in action.

June 19-21 | 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Cost: $20 | Rising 4th-6th Graders

This three-day camp is exciting, hands-on, and interactive! On day one, campers will learn about nail care and the basics of nail painting. On the second day, we will explore business basics and create our very own salon. On day three, we will open our salon for business – providing FREE manicures to the public!

Cost: $50 | Rising 7th-9th Graders

Learn how to use different types of microscopes to get a close look at the anatomy and behavior of some interesting organisms that live around (and inside!) you. Is the bathroom door handle the “dirtiest” surface... or is it somewhere you’d never expect? Find out where microorganisms grow by swabbing and testing different locations. Learn about different microorganisms and the diseases they cause.

Campers will learn basic body movements, strikes, blocks, and kicks. Students will also learn techniques on how to avoid confrontations. This four-day camp is packed with fun-filled action!

This two-day camp will involve a short introduction on how to use GameMaker. Campers will learn how to create a simple 2D game. Get ready for some video fun!
