Crime Scene Investigation

Can you solve a mystery? This four-day camp is all about CSI with activities including fingerprinting, forensic photography, forensic DNA and cast impressions. Campers will also learn to draw a crime scene sketch, as well as bag and tag evidence.

This four-day camp gives campers the tools needed to use the internet safely such as web privacy, cyber hygiene, ethics, system administration, security audits, network forensics chat protection, viruses and the overall focus on how to recognize security problems on a computer.

Health Careers

Designed for campers interested in health care, this three-day camp exposes young students to the variety of health care career programs offered at SCC nursing, radiography, medical laboratory technology, emergency medical science, medical assisting, and respiratory therapy.

Beauty Boot Camp

Join our cosmetology department on a 4-day, hands-on, introduction into the world of Cosmetology. Cosmetology is the professional skill or practice of beautifying the hair, skin and nails, and is often known as the "Cosmetic Arts" because it requires imagination and artistic vision.

Trades Camp I

Gear up for fun as participants learn how to operate a mill and lathe to make parts, along with reading blueprints and taking measurements. What’s even more cool is that students will create their own tools and mini air conditioners to take home with them.

Trades Camp II

It’s all about metal and moving dirt at this camp designed to show participants careers in Heavy Equipment Operations, Welding, and Collision Repair and Refinishing. During the week, campers will learn the basics of painting cars, repairing car parts, the basic operations of excavators, loaders, and dozers through high-tech simulations as well as testing their skills and agility on a real excavator. Finally, welding students will learn the basics of Mig (wire) welding and Stick welding, experience a robotic welder and CNC plasma table in action, as well as weld their own projects.
