College may seem like a long way off, but Stanly Community College’s Summers@SCC camps give area youth the opportunity to explore programs offered on both campuses and get a glimpse of what their future could hold as SCC students. Each camp is designed to help campers meet new friends while exploring diverse interests. It's not just about summer fun; it's about igniting passions and shaping aspirations for the bright road ahead.

Allied Health Camp: Future Healthcare Workers Embark on an exploration of healthcare at SCC! Across three days, participants will dive into sought-after career programs such as Nursing, Radiography, Medical Assisting, Biomedical Technology, Emergency Medical Science, and Respiratory Therapy. Guided by SCC faculty and industry experts, hands-on activities and simulations will inspire the next generation of healthcare leaders. Cosmetology Camp: Beauty by the Book Join us for a journey into the realm of beauty! Our week-long Cosmetology camp offers students a hands-on introduction to the art of Cosmetology, also known as "Cosmetic Art." Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will unlock their creative potential as they learn essential techniques for beautifying hair, skin, and nails. Whether it's mastering hairstyles or exploring nail artistry, this camp promises to ignite excitement and creativity in each camper. |
