Food Pantry in Student Life

 

At Stanly Community College, we understand the challenges some students face with food security. Our Food Pantry is a dedicated resource designed to reduce the negative impact these issues have on academic success.  We provide students and employees in need with a wide variety of non-perishable and perishable food items, along with resources and toiletries to meet basic hygiene needs.

Visit us during our operating hours from 9:00am to 4:30pm for a convenient shopping experience. Please note that food distribution is subject to supply availability.

Donations

We appreciate the support of grants, employee contributions, and student organization-led food drives that help keep essential items on our pantry shelves. Donations are accepted year-round at the Student Life Center on the Albemarle campus, and larger donations should be coordinated by appointment.

Grab-and-Go Boxes

For added convenience, boxes are conveniently located in all building lobbies to assist students facing food insecurities during school hours. At SCC, we are committed to fostering an environment where every student can thrive.
