Stanly Community College (SCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lorie Narolewski as the new Dean of Business Programs.
Narolewski has been a dedicated member of the SCC faculty since May 2017, when she joined as the Pre-College Liaison. The following year, she transitioned into the role of Business Administration Program Head, where she played a key role in shaping the program’s curriculum and student engagement.
With a strong academic background, Narolewski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media from Appalachian State University and a Master of Arts in Management & Leadership from Liberty University. She also brings extensive professional development credentials, including certifications in ACUE (Association of College and University Educators), Quality Matters, and REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning) instruction.
“I am honored to step into this new role and continue working alongside our talented faculty and students,” said Narolewski. "I am excited to support our students as they transition from the classroom to meaningful careers in our community," said Narolewski. "By strengthening industry partnerships and equipping students with real-world skills, we can ensure they graduate ready to make an impact.”
SCC remains committed to providing high-quality education and professional training opportunities in business and related fields. Narolewski’s leadership will further enhance the college’s efforts to support students, industry partners, and the local community.
