Stanly Community College (SCC) offers flexible options for individuals seeking to complete their high school diploma or equivalency. To provide increased access to education, SCC is making it easier than ever for adults to reach this important milestone.

Completing a high school diploma or equivalency can open the door to more career opportunities, higher earning potential, and a pathway to further education, including trade programs or college degrees. According to Kathrine Helms, Coordinator of CCR Student Success at SCC, achieving this credential enhances professional prospects and serves as a personal accomplishment that can inspire others.

To accommodate diverse schedules and learning preferences, SCC offers multiple class options. Students can attend classes in person during the day or evening at both the Albemarle Campus and Crutchfield Education Center in Locust. Alternatively, a fully online option allows students to complete the program virtually.

Orientation for the program begins June 2. Those interested in enrolling or seeking more information can contact Kathrine Helms at 704-991-0364 or khelms5008@stanly.edu.
