Stanly Community College (SCC) will host a community-wide Career Fair on Tuesday, April 4 in the Webb Student Center on the Albemarle campus. The fair will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and is open to both students and the general public.

Stanly Community College has become a vital resource to the community for career and workforce development.

“This event is a great opportunity for individuals to network, learn more about career fields, as well as job vacancies among participating organizations,” noted Marcus Pryor, Dean of Students for SCC. “We encourage anyone searching for a job to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to share with employers.”

In addition to SCC, event sponsors include NC Works, Centralina Workforce Development Board and NextGen Youth Services.

Business representatives attending the Career Fair will include some of Stanly County’s public and private employers, including Preformed Line Products, Custom Alloy Corporation, J.T. Russell & Sons, Inc., Stanly County Schools, Stanley Black and Decker and the City of Albemarle. To view a complete listing, please visit www.stanly.edu/calendar
