What is Service Learning?

Service learning opportunities at Stanly Community College provide students with meaningful ways to apply classroom knowledge while addressing real needs in their communities. Through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, students gain hands-on experience that strengthens academic learning, develops professional skills, and fosters civic responsibility.
