Albemarle, NC – The Stanly Community College (SCC) Foundation held its annual golf tournament—The Stanly Classic, on Friday, April 23, 2021. Players enjoyed a day of golf in rolling, tree-lined fairways at the beautiful Tillery Tradition Country Club located in Mt. Gilead, NC. The Foundation had seventeen teams participate.
“On behalf of Stanly Community College and the SCC Foundation, I would like to sincerely thank everyone that made this year’s tournament a success. The tournament raised $59,635 with proceeds going towards scholarships for students and institutional program needs. We are grateful to our corporate sponsors, golf committee, volunteers, and in-kind partners who supported the 18th Annual Stanly Classic Golf Tournament,” said Jeania Martin, Executive Director of the SCC Foundation.
