Albemarle, NC – Stanly Community College will host two community information sessions featuring its Early Childhood Education certificate and degree options. On Tuesday, August 9, representatives of the program will be onsite at the Albemarle campus from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Eddins building, located at 141 College Drive. On Thursday, August 11, representatives will be on hand from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the College’s Crutchfield Education Center, located at 102 Stanly Parkway in Locust.

Child care providers will also be present to share job opportunities at local child care centers and explain free NC Pre-K for 4-year-old children.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend, even if they are not considering an early childhood education degree. The events will offer information about available resources for parents, including those of children with developmental concerns.
