Albemarle, NC – Each fall and spring, students at Stanly Community College’s Carolina Auction Academy conduct a student auction with proceeds to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The students donate items then auction them at a public auction. Students from the May 2021 and November 2020 CAA classes raised $3,700. The next class of Carolina Auction Academy begins September 9, 2021, and meets at the Crutchfield Education Center in Locust.
