Opening Doors to Education, Employment and Lifelong Success
Everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their goals, build meaningful careers, and experience the benefits of higher education. Access to Achievement at Stanly Community College provides personalized support and guidance to help students navigate college, develop workforce skills, and achieve their individual goals.
Through a partnership with the North Carolina Community College System, Access to Achievement expands access to educational opportunities and connects students with the resources they need to succeed in college and beyond.
Working collaboratively with departments across campus, including curriculum, workforce development, continuing education, and basic skills programs, Access to Achievement helps students identify pathways that align with their interests, strengths, and career aspirations.

Our Access to Achievement Coordinator provides individualized support to help students succeed, including:
- Person-centered planning
- College and program exploration
- Assistance with program placement
- Academic and campus resource navigation
- Goal setting and career planning
- Connection to support services and community resources
- Ongoing encouragement and individualized guidance
Students who would benefit from additional support are encouraged to connect with our Access to Achievement Coordinator. Services are available through self-identification, and an official disability diagnosis is not required.
