SCC’s Foundation also holds annual events to raise awareness and proceeds that go toward scholarships, student emergency funds and to meet other needs to fulfill the college’s mission of student success.
Stanly Classic Golf Tournament
Held annually, the Stanly Classic Golf Tournament is a great event that directly impacts our students positively.
Entry tickets include green access, cart rental, gifts, refreshments, lunch and beverages.
The 2024 Stanly Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 29.

SCC's The Day
For the very first time, SCC hosted a Day of Giving, a day dedicated to making a lasting impact on our students, campus, and the future of education.
#SCCstheDayofGiving was a special 24-hour event that was held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
This event united our alumni, students, retirees, community partners and friends to support the College.
The event may be over but you can still give and make a difference.
An Evening of Gratitude
The SCC Foundation hosted “An Evening of Gratitude” on August 8, 2023, to honor scholarship donors and recipients. The event brought together over 140 individuals that have generously donated to a scholarship fund and the students who have been awarded scholarships as a result of these contributions.
The reception served as a platform to foster connections, express gratitude, and build a sense of community among donors, recipients, and Stanly Community College.
