The Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes are designed to focus on basic math, reading, and language skills. Some students come to these classes in order to learn to read for the first time and others attend to refresh their skills before taking the High School Equivalency classes.

- Convenient class times: morning, afternoon and evening (Monday - Friday)
- Convenient class locations: on campus, off campus, and online
Ready to begin your journey?
- Orientation is offered twice a month on Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendance is required in person, and class registration takes place during orientation. Complete placement testing beforehand—Tuesdays at 9 a.m. or Thursdays at 2 p.m. To sign up, call or text Austin Hunsucker, Student Success Coordinator, at 704-991-0364.
- If you are seeking an Adult High School diploma, provide an official high school transcript from the last public school you attended.
