The Performance Measures for Student Success Report is the North Carolina Community College System’s major accountability document. This annual performance report is based on data compiled during the previous year and serves to inform colleges and the public on the performance of our 58 community colleges (North Carolina Community College System, ).

Institutional Goal: SCC will assess performance within the NCCCS by benchmarking against the baseline and excellence levels measured by the statewide Performance Measures assessment.

Summary of Progress: During Year 1 of Strategic Plan 2021-2024 (AY2022), SCC will perform above average in 100% and meet or exceed excellence of performance in 50% (3 of 7) of the measures. The goal requires SCC to meet excellence in at least one additional measure. SCC fell short in AY2022, scoring above average on four of the seven measures (57%) and achieving excellence on only one of the seven measures (14%). SCC’s scores in the 2023 Performance Measures report remain steady, scoring above average on four of the seven measures, but achieving excellence on none.
