The Performance Measures for Student Success Report is the North Carolina Community College System’s major accountability document. This annual performance report is based on data compiled during the previous year and serves to inform colleges and the public on the performance of our 58 community colleges (North Carolina Community College System).

Institutional Goal: Per the Strategic Plan 2021-2024, SCC will assess performance within the NCCCS by benchmarking against the baseline and excellence levels measured by the statewide Performance Measures assessment. SCC will perform above average in 100% and meet or exceed excellence of performance in 3 of 7 of the measures.

Summary of Progress: SCC fell short of the goal in 2022, scoring above average on four of the seven measures and achieving excellence on only one of the seven measures. In 2023 SCC scored above average on three of the seven measures but did not achieve excellence on any measure. In 2024, SCC once again scored above average on three of the seven measures, but did not meet or exceed excellence on any.
